Gulf Coast Barrel Race Association is a premier organization for barrel racing enthusiasts. We are a 501 (C) (4), and all of our profits go back into the organization for payouts and prizes for the members. Barrel racers of the Gulf Coast have been riding together for over 41 years!

Our team is made up of 4 Board Members and 5 Officers who are passionate about barrel racing and keeping GCBRA a family oriented organization. Our Board of Directors and Officers volunteer their time to make this the best organization for their members.

Our Vision
At Gulf Coast Barrel Race Association, our vision is to keep this organization going strong for barrel racers of the Gulf Coast. We will strive to create a transparent, fair and safe environment for our competitors. We are a Christian based organization, so we will pray for God's hedge of protection for our competitors at the beginning of each race.
Membership Requirements
Membership Fees
Participants must complete membership form and submit $60 membership fee for the first household member and $ 40 for each subsequent household member joining the organization. This must be completed before points will be given.
Award Donation Fee
Each member is responsible for a $60 award fee due by April 1. A sponsorship donation can replace the $60 donation if received by April 1. Any member that does not turn in the $60 award fee will result in member not being able to receive year end awards nor participate in finals.
Workpoints
Each member is responsible for 15 work points throughout the year.
As for family work points, there will be a maximum of 30 work points for 3 or more in family under 12 years of age. All workpoints must be completed before finals to be in good standing. A $300 buckle donation will be worth 10 workpoints. A $1000 co-saddle sponsorship donation will be worth 15 workpoints. Any member that does not complete their workpoints will result in the member not being able to receive year end awards nor participate in finals. A member will have to pay a fine of $40 before joining GCBRA the following year for neglecting work points.
Raffle Tickets
Raffle ticket sales are a large contributor to our year-end awards. Each member will be required to sell a book of raffle tickets. Raffle tickets must be sold by Pink Day for members to be able to receive awards or participate in finals.
